About Travis

Travis Quigley is a play-by-play broadcaster and the Broadcast Operations Manager at LI Sports Network. He's the lead voice for hockey and lacrosse, and he's had the mic for some of the area's biggest nights — including FDNY vs NYPD Hockey at UBS Arena.

There's a lot more to it than game night. During the week Travis is running production crews, training interns, cutting highlights for social, press conferences with coaches & athletes and meticulously prepping for the next broadcast. He also calls a variety of sports at both the NCAA Division I & NCAA Division II levels at Stony Brook University and Adelphi University, respectively. In 2025, he launched his own podcast, Rinks & Realities.

Before he ever called a game, Travis played NCAA hockey at Southern New Hampshire University, where he was an AHCA Academic All-American and an NE10 champion. He went on to earn an MBA in Sport Business, and got his start on air at SNHU, learning under New Hampshire Fisher Cats broadcaster Bob Lipman. Travis brings the passion and energy he had while on the ice, up with him to the booth for every single broadcast.

Travis is from Long Island but has lived much of his life on the road thanks to his days playing hockey. Away from the headset, he enjoys watching his favorite teams, lacing the skates up for men's league and spending time with his family.
